NEO Church is a non-denominational, contemporary church with a passion to "go and make disciples." (Matt 28:19) Since its beginning, NEO Church has been most passionate about one thing; the unapologetic proclamation of Jesus Christ through the Bible. It is our desire to see Christ change the hearts and lives of NE Ohio through the truth of His word.

NEO Church seeks to be a vibrant church as hearts and lives come together to enjoy the vision God has given us for the city. NEO Church derives its name from the Latin derivative NEO, meaning new. It is our belief that through Jesus Christ, God "makes all things new." (Rev 21:5)

NEO Vision: To reach every generation with the message of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 4:2) "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and careful instruction."

NEO Mission: To go and make disciples (Matt 28:19-20) "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

NEO Passion: To cut through this culture by effectively teaching the truths of the Bible. (Isaiah 55:10-11) "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there withought watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to me empty, withought accomplishing what I desire, And withought succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."

NEO History: It all began in a barn. Not a manger barn...we were not trying to recreate Christmas...just a barn. It turned out God had put a vision in the heart of Pastor Dan Burgoyne to plant a church seeking to reach every generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. With the help of a small team NEOchurch opened its doors NOV 7, 2007 in the form of a Bible study on Wednesday evenings. Soon, the barn became filled and the need for a new location became evident. Given the desire of NEOchurch to reach all of NE Ohio, a central location to both the city and suburbs became an important priority. On July 6, 2008 that prayer became a reality as the first Sunday morning service was held at the Independence Middle School located near the two main highways connecting both the east and west sides. Today, we are witnessing a growing, thriving community of people who hail from around the city. We are excited for what God has already done and we are in eager anticipation for What he is about to do! What God says in Ephesians 3:20 is true. "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to his power at work within us. To him be glory in the church and in Christ
Jesus to all generations forever and ever Amen."
