A Woman Who Doesn't Quit (Women)

We are living in a day where we are encouraged to live life based on how we feel instead of what God says in His word. Ruth is a Woman who lived a life of great Perseverance. Through her example, we uncover five life-giving habits that help us to persevere when things get hard, complicated, and messy. These habits do more than just motivate, they help us to fight when resistance arises. They teach us to pursue discipline and show how success is not achieved by running after temporary desires. The direction of our lives need to be far less about to-do lists and accomplishments and much more about becoming the Women God calls us to be.

Church Leadership For the Advancement of the Gospel (Men)

NEO Church desires to bring maximum Glory to God.  We need faithful, compassionate, wise, humble and character-filled leaders, trained with biblical truths and practical knowledge.  We are continuing a series of classes to equip current and future leaders, this time focusing on what it looks like for leaders to rally around a common goal - advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Life is too hard to manage single-handedly, yet many of us try to take it on alone.  We need God and each other to leads His Church.  This study reminds us that leaders lead best when they submit to God and walk together.

2 Peter: Courage in Times of Trouble (Couples & Singles)

Peter was a man of passion. A rock who Christ built his church on. He experienced great highs (walked on water/witnessed transfiguration) and great lows (denied Christ 3 times). He was a person just like us that God used in many powerful ways. Come join us to learn about the beautiful promises of God, practical instruction on how to live in these unstable times, and warnings about what is to come.

The Gospel of John (Couples & Singles)

Join us Saturdays at 9:30 AM to study and read the Gospel of John.  John was a first hand witness and disciple to Jesus for Jesus' entire earthly ministry.  He was part of the "inner three."  90% of John's Gospel is unique with many stories and events not captured in the other Gospels.  There are more early manuscripts of the Book of John than any other because it was the book copied most in the 1st and 2nd century!  What does God want to teach us and reveal about himself in this book?   Come and discover over food and fellowship at Lakewood Park!

Why Join a Small Group?

We were created for community.

It's one thing to see people every Sunday, or even hang out during the week, but when people gather to intentionally study God's Word together, true friendships are built.

Small Groups are how we establish community at NEO Church. If you want to get plugged into a body of believers, make new friends, or simply grow closer to God, Small Groups are for you.

Non-threatening, social, and focused.
When you attend, you can be assured that the home you enter will be warm and inviting. The leader will be well prepared, giving your group discussion opportunities and helping you to understand what the Scripture is saying. All of this is so that you come away knowing more of God and His Word.

Feel free to bring a friend, or request to join a group that's already taking place. We're okay with that! Small groups turn Spring, Fall and Summer. The longest semester is about 12 weeks long, so even if you missed the chance to join one round of groups, it won’t be long before you have the chance to be part of a new one. There are a wide selection of groups, those specific to gender, co-ed, married couples, topics, or special interests. Whatever the type of group you choose to participate in, you can be sure its primary focus will be on sharing biblical truth and wisdom while building community with other believers.
